Western Radiation Oncology is proud to announce the opening of its newest location in the Memphis, Tennessee metropolitan area, offering expanded access to cutting-edge prostate cancer care for patients across the Mid-South. This expansion is made possible through a strategic partnership with the Conrad Pearson Clinic, one of the region’s most trusted names in urology.
With the launch of this collaborative program, the Conrad Pearson Clinic now offers Low-Dose Rate (LDR) brachytherapy—a proven, minimally invasive treatment that delivers a customized dose of radiation directly to the prostate. This therapy has been shown to deliver excellent long-term cancer control while preserving quality of life and minimizing disruption to daily activities.
Expanding Access to Proven, Same-Day Care
With the addition of the Memphis location, Western Radiation Oncology continues its mission to bring proven, patient-centered cancer therapies closer to home. LDR brachytherapy can be performed in an ambulatory surgery center (ASC) setting, making it an efficient and accessible option for patients who want effective treatment with minimal downtime.
Patients in the Memphis area will now benefit from:
- Convenient, local access to a well-established prostate cancer treatment supported by decades of evidence
- A multidisciplinary model that seamlessly integrates radiation oncology and urology
- Same-day treatment options that preserve patient comfort and reduce the need for extended hospital visits
A Transformative Step for Patient Care and Practice Growth
According to Dr. Michael Granieri of Conrad Pearson Clinic, “Partnering with Western Radiation Oncology to bring LDR brachytherapy into our practice has been transformative for our ASC and our patients. The program enhances our comprehensive approach to treating prostate cancer and has quickly become a meaningful contributor to our practice growth. Being the first UroGPO partner to launch this program, we’ve seen firsthand how it elevates the quality of care while strengthening the business of urology.”
The partnership represents a significant milestone for UroGPO member practices seeking to integrate turnkey, high-value clinical programs that enhance patient outcomes and support sustainable growth.
A Regional Commitment to Excellence
This expansion is the latest step in Western Radiation Oncology’s larger effort to redefine community-based cancer care through collaborative partnerships, physician-led innovation, and accessible treatment options that meet patients where they are.
Together, Western Radiation Oncology and the Conrad Pearson Clinic are strengthening the region’s prostate cancer care ecosystem—delivering leading-edge treatment, expanding patient choice, and advancing the standard of care in the Mid-South.
